Terms of Service

These terms cover use of Relay, a community chat service. By creating an account or using Relay, you agree to follow these terms and the rules of communities you join.

Who can use Relay

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Give accurate account information, keep your password and recovery codes secure, and use only accounts you are authorized to use.

Your communities and content

You are responsible for what you post, upload, or share. You keep ownership of your content. You allow Relay to store, display, transmit, and process it as needed to operate the service and show it to the people you choose to share it with. You must have the rights to anything you upload.

Community rules

Do not harass or threaten people, impersonate others, share private information without permission, post illegal material, exploit the service, or interfere with its security. Community owners and moderators may set additional rules and moderate their spaces. Relay staff may remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts when needed to protect users and the service.

Service changes

Relay is evolving. Features may change or be unavailable at times. We may update these terms and will post the revised date here. If you have a question about your account or these terms, contact Relay staff in the app.
